Having COVID-19 does not provide the same level of immunity as getting vaccinated. Our Pharmacy can administer Covid-19 Vaccinations on boosters for you and your whanau.

Boostrix is a vaccine used for booster vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough). Boostrix is free for pregnant people and children aged 11 or 12.

Shingles is a painful, itchy skin rash. It usually appears as blisters around one side of your chest, but it can also be on your trunk, back, legs or face. It is most common in people over 70 years of age, but can happen in younger people. It is caused by the same virus (varicella zoster) that causes chickenpox. In New Zealand, Shingrix (2 doses) is available to anyone 50 years and older but only free (funded) for people aged exactly 65 years.

We now offer funded vaccines against meningococcal disease for those that are eligible, this includes those that are at high-risk of catching the disease (young adults living in close living situations, e.g University halls of residence).
